11. A stroll around Llwyn-On Reservoir
Llwyn-On Reservoir is surrounded by hills and forests in the central Brecon Beacons.
A stone dust path runs parallel to the A470 on the east side of the reservoir. This path starts from several roadside lay-bys with lakeside picnic areas, close to some accessible fishing spots. There is also an accessible bird hide in the middle of a reed bed. Information boards can be found around the reservoir. At present there isn’t a safe, accessible circular walk around the whole reservoir. The path is undulating with some short gradients of up to 1:6. Fishing permits can be bought at Garwnant Visitor Centre.
