The Eleventh Hay Winter Festival
Welcome to our 11th winter Festival and the fireside and mulled wine intimacy of Advent in Hay. Please join us to hang out with friends, laugh fit to burst, and to enjoy the finest stories, ideas, food and company.
The Winter Weekend runs from 3–5 December.
The programme is available to book online or by phone on 01497 822 629, and printed programmes are available around Hay. The events take place at the Community Centre, the Parish Hall, Booth’s Bookshop and the Granary.
Books
All the writers here are compelling and entertaining. Their books will also make perfect Christmas gifts. Our wonderful bookseller, Pembertons, can provide autographed copies for you if you are unable to come in person.
Christmas shopping
Festival-goers will be most welcome for Hay’s Christmas Happy Hour, 5–6pm on Saturday. Participating shops will be offering discounts, drinks and Christmas cheer: The Bowie Gallery, Fired Studio, The Granary, The Great English Outdoors, The Hay Makers, Mostlymaps.com, Shepherds, Booth’s Books.
